Warm weather weekend

Saturday morning started off with a dozen doughnuts/donuts from Donut Kastle! Have no fear, we split the with Jon and Janal and they were delicious. From there Drew and I ran around a bit then I headed out, way out, to a pastry supply store in uber-South Louisville. This treasure-land-of-goodness had a lot of supplies that I didn't realize were even available in Louisville - I picked up a few treats for upcoming birthdays and holidays.


Saturday afternoon included napping...with Griffie of course.



Saturday evening we attended the swanky wedding of a couple in our Sunday School class. The ceremony was at Alumni Chapel and the reception was at The Seelbach Hotel downtown.


This was probably the nicest wedding reception that I've ever attended, the sit-down dinner included a beef filet, salmon filet, roasted potatoes, creamed leeks and salad. We didn't stay for cake but it sure looked delicious.
