black and white | kitchens

Gwyneth Paltrow has many kitchens, but I really like how different her Long Island and Manhattan kitchens are. Less than 100 miles apart but so different in style.

Great black cabinetry and stainless appliances. The island looks like it allows for functionality and storage. I wish I could tell what type of flooring she selected. I would opt for a different lighting option, these chandeliers just don't work for me.

If I ever desired an all-white kitchen this would be the one I would select. I would also need a full time house keeper - can you imagine making spaghetti in this kitchen.

outdoor kitchen | unknown location, but I'm guessing The Hamptons

On a sidenote, I just love this photo by Mario Testino for Vogue.

  1. Love your blog! I prefer her Hampton's kitchen, there is no way white would work for me either. Plus I love the darker wood. I also love the Testino picture, I don't think he's probably ever taken a bad shot!
