These cookies are on their way to two little boys in Nebraska. Peter and Patrick are going as Robin Hood and Little John for Halloween (complete with marshmallow-shooting crossbows). Unfortunately I am not yet ready to create Disney characters out of sugar but I can make some happy ghosts and a few cordial bats. While decorating these cookies I had the tune "Robin Hood and Little John walking through the forest, laughing back and forth about what the other had to say..." go through my head no less than 100 times. But it was worth it. If you haven't seen that Disney please find a copy - it is one of the best.

"Robin Hood and Little John running through the forest jumping fences, dodging trees, and trying to get away..."
