Last night we had a carnival-inspired dinner at Jon and Janal's house. We splurged on homemade corn dogs, homemade corn fritters, homemade potato chips and Janal's homemade 'break-up cake.' So I've already emphasized the homemade-ness of this meal, but to my knowledge the only thing purchased and not made from scratch were the hot dogs that were reborn into delicious corn dogs. 

Was there a "real" vegetable present? No, why do you ask?
