This evening I made a quick batch of LilaLoa's chocolate sugar cookies and had a Peep party. Decorating these couldn't have been easier - I just dumped a lot of sanding sugar on top of the wet icing.

Peeps!
After a stressful week I impulsively bought a Peep cookie cutter and didn't think twice about it. It's copper, and cost a lot (for a cookie cutter) and I had to pay shipping, but I don't care - I love it. Peeps have been around since 1953, I'm thinking they've got at least 50 more years on supermarket shelves. So my investment will be handy for many years to come.

They do make a Peep rabbit cookie cutter, maybe next year...
