Saturday night, exactly 24-hours after Drew completed his studies at a Baptist seminary, we jumped on the highway and headed to the Horseshoe Casino in Southern Indiana - and we partied.
"Party" meant that we each put on some jeans, freshly ironed blue-stripe button-downs and our Sperry boatshoes and accepted some free
Jonny Lang concert tickets. I didn't know much about Jonny Lang, just that he's younger than I am and is a blues guitar prodigy. This type of evening out was totally out of the norm for us and we were so happy we fought the rain and made the 20-mile drive to the casino. No pennies, dimes or dollars were spent on this evening out - we didn't even see the gaming rooms at the Horseshoe. Lang was awesome, and I'd highly recommend his live show.
