Drew and I are hosting a pre-St. Patrick's Day feast next Monday for five friends. Last night we came upon these little darlings... Bob's Red Mill Irish Soda Bread mix and Twining's Irish Breakfast Tea. I finally found the Bob's line of products in my local Valu-Mart's "organic" section, nudged in between the $12 granola and the $15 flax seed. Luckily my bread mix was just about $3 bucks.
Bob's Irish Soda Bread is a favorite at Amy and Marty's house and I can totally see why. I made a test loaf last night and when I pulled it out of the oven at about 10:30 p.m. Drew and I dove in head first. There was butter everywhere. This bread could not be easier to make and it is so good it makes me want to do a jig.
