1. Last night I had dinner with my friend Karah. We went to Osaka, a sushi and Japanese grill in a super edgy part of town. I had edamame...


and a shrimp tempura roll


and tamago! This treasure was undiscovered to me until Amy ordered if for me a few months back. It doesn't look like much but it is so tasty. Tamago is a sweet Japanese omelet that is cut and served over small bites of rice. It's only ingredients are eggs, sugar, mirin rice wine and soy sauce. Yum!


2. Elnett extra-strong hairspray. This drugstore hairspray, $14.99, is as good as any salon brand I've ever tried. Louisville's humidity has got nothing on this and you can still comb through it.


3. My guilty pleasure, The Celebrity Apprentice. Every Sunday night The Donald and and his cast of crazy quasi-celebrities make me laugh.
