This is where I failed. I came upon Magnolia Bakery in Grand Central and had the the same unfortunate reaction as I do in any Anthropology or paper store - I wanted one of everything so I bought nothing. I left without buying a single cupcake! I just got some sprinkles, why, because I'm lame and buckled under the pressure.

My sprinkles, which are packaged so cute I'll probably never open them. (ps: this is the view from my room)

This lady iced about two dozen chocolate-chocolate cupcakes in about five minutes. She had some skill - and some sprinkles.

My uber tourist moment outside the Mary Poppins show. Would highly recommend the show to anyone with kids - great music and special effects. In the closing scene Mary Poppins flies away with her umbrella - she flies out into the theater and up to the third level balcony.

"Spiderman" has arrived on Broadway with music and lyrics from Bono and The Edge - enough said. Immediately cool. Sold out for months and it hasn't even opened yet.
