No dishes were washed in the making of this blog post

I was home last week for a brief amount of time, just long enough for mom to take me to Alexandria's Cupcake Cottage - a new Springfield bakery. The Cottage is really cute, full to the brim of vintage and vintage-inspired baking accessories.

Mom treated me to these little darlings...if I have to wash dishes, then I should probably wash them while wearing these.

The Cupcake Cottage got me thinking about how fun it would be to collect and decorate your kitchen with vintage baking accessories. After some searching I found these treasures...

8x10 print of a retro Sunbeam mixer on Etsy
and this GE cookbook on how to cook with frozen food, also from Etsy. How about an entire wall of framed, old cookbook covers?

Vintage Pyrex refrigerator set

Alfred Meakin Glo-White Ironstone Sunflower design coffee cups with cream and sugar, also from Etsy.

and these, aren't they fun, and also from Etsy.
