Day 4 - visiting the locals

Tuesday evening we were treated to dinner at the Wyatt's downtown apartment - which was lovely. Their three kids are delightful and it was so interesting to hear the Wyatt's talk about NYC apartment living and parenting. The Wyatt family of five lives in a highly organized one-bedroom apartment, but it just works. No one is deprived of personal space, it just takes a bit of planning. On the walk back to the "hotel" we stopped at {second day in a row} Insomnia Cookie to pick up treats for the mission team. These cookies are best described as amazing. Pretty much like your Momma made them and served them to you warm. And at $1.50 or $12 for 12, it's about the cheapest Manhattan dessert available.
